Umbraco Developer

Key Responsibilities

• User interaction & documentation : Experienced in user interaction,

requirements gathering and documentation and high level/ low level design

• Development and customization: Build, customize and maintain website, work

on templates, modules, workflows, themes and plugins to add specific

functionality, especially for storefront or multiple stores for marketplace

websites

• Technical implementation: 

• Translate designs and wireframes into a working website, ensuring a

responsive and user-friendly experience.

• Able to do analysis, design, and implementation of Web Customer

Experience applications using CMS platforms such as Umbraco,

Cofoundry, Kentico and any DAM platform

• Integrations: Configure/customize Umbraco, Tenovos APIs/services with

third-party APIs and services apart from data exchange services with

enterprise middleware like Azure Integration Services

• Performance and security: Ensure high website performance, availability and

implement security measures to protect the site. Collaborate with UI/UX

teams to implement responsive designs.

• Maintenance and upgrades: Manage and perform technical tasks like

installation, upgrades, deployments, and troubleshooting issues.

• Collaboration: Work with other teams, including designers, project managers,

and content creators, to meet project requirements.

• Optimization: Implement SEO best practices to improve search engine

ranking and optimize for all browsers.

• Working experience in B2B eCommerce and Consumer Goods/CPG

ecosystem of products ( SAP ERP, Distribution/WMS applications, Salesforce

cloud platforms etc.,)  

Skills and Experience

• Proven experience with Umbraco CMS and Tenovos DAM

configurations/customizations

• Strong knowledge of C#, .NET Framework, ASP.NET MVC.

• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive design.

• Experience with SQL Server, Entity Framework, GraphQL API development

and database design.

• Familiarity with Git and version control systems.

• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

• Task automation: Experience with task runners like Grunt, Gulp, or Webpack. 

• Working experience in JIRA, Confluence and Agile Scrum Model of SDLC.
