Job Description

UK Accountant

Key Responsibilities

Perform daily bookkeeping for
UK-based clients
using software like
Xero, QuickBooks Online, Sage, or FreeAgent
.
Complete
bank and credit card reconciliations
.
Process
Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
.
Post
payroll journals and accruals
.
Prepare
quarterly/monthly VAT returns
and
EC Sales Lists
in accordance with
HMRC regulations
.
Communicate and coordinate with UK clients via email or video calls to ensure timely and accurate processing of financial data.
Assist in month-end closing activities and the preparation of management reports.
Maintain proper documentation and an audit trail for all work.

Requirements

B.Com/M.Com/CA Inter/ACCA
(part-qualified or similar qualification).
Proven experience in
UK bookkeeping and VAT return preparation
.
Familiarity with
UK VAT schemes
(Standard Rate, Flat Rate, Margin Scheme, etc.) is an advantage.

Work Schedule:
5 days working.
Location:
Okhla, New Delhi.
