UI/UX Developer - Consultant - L2

As a UI/UX Developer, you will be responsible for understanding customer needs and designing visually appealing, interactive web applications. Your role will involve developing and maintaining web applications using the Angular 18+ framework while writing clean, reusable, and well-documented JavaScript, TypeScript, and CSS/SCSS code. Collaboration with back-end developers to integrate RestAPIs and ensure seamless functionality between front-end and back-end systems will be a key aspect of your responsibilities. You will be expected to implement best practices for cross-browser compatibility, generate automated test cases using frameworks like Jasmine and Karma, and conduct code reviews while mentoring junior developers when necessary. Troubleshooting and debugging application issues, proposing improvements, and optimizing applications for performance and scalability are also part of your tasks. Your role will involve conducting testing and debugging to ensure high-quality deliverables, focusing on map interactions, geospatial data handling, and user interface performance. Additionally, you will be responsible for bug fixes, providing production support, and collaborating with team members in Agile projects. Staying updated on industry trends and best practices in UX design and development, as well as maintaining clear and concise documentation for application functionality, user guides, and technical specifications, will be crucial. The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in IT, computer science, computer engineering, or a related field, along with at least 6 years of professional experience in Frontend development. Strong proficiency in Angular 18 or newer versions, JavaScript, Node.js, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3 is required. Experience with REST APIs, unit testing frameworks, static code analyzers, security best practices, AI-based developer tools, version control systems, and CICD tools is also necessary. Excellent communication, client interaction, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment are essential for this role.
