Key Responsibilities:

Specifically, this role involves the shaping of UI components and driving the development of a design system, for financial tools and services in both consumer facing and advisor facing experiences.

Utilize Figma variables, variants, and properties for efficient design processes.
- Contribute to asset libraries to ensure design consistency and scalability.

Organize and maintain components through thorough documentation.

Promote and practice robust design principles, ensuring optimal user experiences.
-
Adhere to brand guidelines and actively contribute to their evolution.

Create high-quality, responsive UI designs with meticulous attention to detail.
-
Work from research and data to map user journeys and ideate new features for continuous improvement.

Develop information architecture and user flows to ensure a seamless and intuitive user experience.

Translate user insights into actionable design solutions.

Create wireframes and interactive prototypes to visualize and communicate design concepts.

Iterate on functionality based on user feedback and testing results.

Demonstrate a strong working understanding and application of accessibility guidelines.

Collaborate effectively with developers to ensure pixel-perfect UI implementation.

Communicate design concepts and rationale clearly to key stakeholders.

Awareness of HTML, CSS, and front-end practices.

Knowledge of Storybook.

Familiarity with design thinking workshops for collaborative ideation sessions.

Experience in usability testing (multivariant testing, concept testing, tree jack, card sorting etc)

Experience in UX research (competitor analysis, heuristic evaluation, stakeholder interviews)
Job requirements

Bachelor’s degree required.
-
A minimum of 5 years of experience in UX UI design
-
Strong portfolio showcasing a range of UX UI projects with specific examples of design systems.

Experience designing solutions for financial professional audiences.
-
Experience designing solutions for consumer retail audiences.
-
Experience working in an Agile or SAFe Agile environment and a high-level understanding of Agile practices highly preferred.

Extensive experience using Figma is essential in addition to Adobe Suite, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, JIRA, collaboration tools (Miro/Mural/Lucid).

Ability to learn quickly and work in a changing environment and under tight deadlines.

Ability to independently manage personal timelines.
