UI Developer (React JS) AVP C12 - Pune

As the Senior UI Developer of Global Program Trading Technology team at Citi Equities Technology, you are expected to leverage your strong analytical and technical skills gained from 8-13 years of experience in React, Redux, websockets, and cutting-edge web technologies. Your role involves leading the team technically, working independently, demonstrating excellent communication skills, and effectively managing stakeholders. Based in India, you will report to the Global High Touch Architect and be responsible for designing, developing, and testing Program Trading suite applications to ensure alignment with current market trends. Your duties also include mentoring the team technically, resolving high-impact problems through comprehensive evaluation of business and system processes, and ensuring application design compliance with the architecture blueprint. Your expertise will be crucial in developing a deep understanding of business areas, providing in-depth analysis to define issues and innovative solutions, and serving as an advisor to mid-level developers and analysts. You will need to assess risk appropriately, communicate with global technology teams, manage delivery schedules, and offer level 3 support in case of production issues or queries from the support team. Your technical skills should encompass hands-on experience with HTML5, CSS3/SASS/CSS in JS, Core JavaScript, Typescript, React, React hooks, Jest, React-testing-library, Cypress, Redux, Recoil, React Context, RxJS, Web Sockets, Web workers, Webpack/Vite, Electron, RESTful APIs, JWT, NodeJS, Express JS, among others. Exposure to tools like Bitbucket, Jenkins, Artifactory, Confluence, and MongoDB would be advantageous. To qualify for this role, you should have extensive experience in system analysis and software applications programming, successful project management experience, and proficiency in at least one area of Applications Development. Demonstrating leadership skills, project management expertise, and clear written and verbal communication is essential. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
