UI Designer

As a UI Designer at Springer Nature Group in Pune, you will have the opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience across a suite of applications. Your primary responsibility will be to translate UX insights into high-quality interface designs that are in alignment with our established design system. This will involve working closely with UI developers to ensure design-to-code alignment and maintaining a shared component library. You will be tasked with upholding visual consistency across the entire application suite, as well as collaborating effectively with various stakeholders such as product managers, developers, and UX designers. The ideal candidate for this role should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in UI design, particularly in large or enterprise-scale product environments. You should be a strong team player who can also work independently when necessary, demonstrating proactive problem-solving skills and leadership within your area of expertise. Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, is essential. Expert-level skills in Figma, as well as a deep understanding of design systems, are required. Additionally, you should have experience collaborating with front-end developers on component libraries and implementation. Knowledge of Bootstrap and/or Foundation, working proficiency in SCSS (SASS/LESS), JavaScript, and HTML, as well as an understanding of accessibility standards and inclusive design practices are highly desirable. Experience in conducting user research and working in complex, fast-paced environments with changing priorities will be beneficial for this role.
