We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated IT System Operations Engineer to join our team at UiT The Arctic University of Norway. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in the field.

Roles and Responsibility

Manage Active Directory and related services, including on-prem certificate services.
Operate and develop services based on Azure Virtual Desktop.
Develop and implement infrastructure services for high-performance computing.
Assist in modernizing IT services and data management for research.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless system operations.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
Minimum 2 years of experience in IT system operations or a related field.
Strong knowledge of cloud technologies, scripting languages, and network expertise.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Ability to take initiative and adapt to changing priorities.
Familiarity with higher education sector and IT service management frameworks.
