Develop, modify, and optimize CNC programs for turret punch presses and laser cutting machines, often using CAD/CAM software.
Determine the correct materials and machine settings for each job, ensuring efficient and accurate cutting.
Diagnose and resolve issues related to programming, tooling, or machine performance.
Inspect parts for dimensional accuracy and overall quality, making adjustments as needed.
Work closely with engineers, designers, and machine operators to optimize production processes.
Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot minor issues.
Maintain records of programs, setups, and any adjustments made.
