Job Description

Turning Programmer

Key Responsibilities:

Create and optimize programs for
CNC Turning Centers
using G-code, M-code, and CAM software.
Set up and operate CNC turning machines for prototype and production batches.
Read and interpret
engineering drawings, GD&T
, and technical specifications.
Select appropriate
tools, inserts, and machining strategies
based on material and tolerance requirements.
Collaborate with production, quality, and design teams to ensure
quality and efficiency
.
Conduct first-piece inspections and make necessary adjustments.
Maintain tool libraries and programming standards.
Continuously improve cycle time, tool life, and machining accuracy.

Qualifications & Experience:

Diploma/ITI in Mechanical Engineering (NTTF, GTTC, CTTC, or equivalent preferred)

CNC turning programming & operations

CAM software

G-code/M-code

cutting tools

tight tolerance machining

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
