As a Turner at Traclaxx Tractors Pvt. Ltd., your role involves operating a variety of machines including CNC, VMC, Grinding, Press, Zinc Plating Units, and Welding Stations. Your deep technical knowledge will be crucial in maintaining quality and efficiency in our high-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities: - Set up, program, and operate CNC and VMC machines to produce high-precision tractor components. - Operate surface and cylindrical grinding machines to achieve the required surface finish and dimensional accuracy. - Work with hydraulic and mechanical press machines for sheet metal forming and shaping. - Handle and oversee zinc electroplating or galvanizing processes as per component requirement. - Conduct MIG/TIG/Arc welding on steel and cast components used in tractor assembly. - Interpret and work from technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications. - Conduct inspection and quality checks on finished parts. - Maintain cleanliness and safety in the work area. - Report defects or machinery issues promptly. Qualifications: - Operate and set up lathe machines for precision turning of tractor parts. - Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and job orders. - Measure and inspect finished products using micrometres, gauges, and callipers. - Maintain machine tools and perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting. - Ensure parts meet quality standards and specifications. - Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized workspace. - Record production data and report any mechanical issues. - Collaborate with quality control and production teams for continuous improvement.
