The Turbine Mechanical Lead Engineer at Arabelle Solutions will be responsible for executing the mechanical scope of one or more nuclear steam turbine projects. As a part of the project team, the individual will lead various activities within the design office, adapting to the increasing complexity and rapid changes in projects. The role involves working on industry-leading nuclear steam turbines known for their performance, availability, and power, playing a pivotal role in mechanical engineering excellence. Key Responsibilities: - Coordinate design engineers and technicians in mechanical design, thermodynamics, and mechanical calculations. - Engage in a variety of technical and project management topics to foster professional development. - Report engineering indicators related to discipline to the project team and manager, including on-time delivery, budget, and post-freeze modifications. Responsibilities of the Nuclear Steam Turbine Mechanical Lead Engineer include: - Issuing and verifying technical reports, calculation notes, or drawings. - Managing technical interfaces with other disciplines. - Leading engineering design reviews for the mechanical discipline. - Ensuring timely and budget-friendly delivery of design documentation. - Managing technical interfaces with clients, project teams, factories, external suppliers, and site teams. - Providing feedback to the group, ensuring identification and monitoring of Nuclear Safety Items and Activities. - Planning and securing ITNS Gates Reviews and adhering to design and production regulations. - Following company EHS rules and guidelines. Requirements: - Education: Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering. - Experience: 5+ years of engineering experience in a design office (energy, oil & gas, aerospace, special machineries). - Technical Know-how: Understanding of manufacturing processes, non-destructive testing fundamentals, and strong mechanical-design skills. - Behavioral Skills: Process-oriented, strong team leadership, autonomy, and decision-making abilities. - Language Skills: Fluent in English (speaking, listening comprehension, reading, and writing).
