Your work profile.
We are seeking a skilled professional to manage, maintain, and enhance our SOC platform, ensuring effective monitoring, detection, and response to security incidents. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in SOC administration, threat detection, and SOC operations to provide continuous security improvements and support to the SOC team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze security events and alerts from QRadar SIEM in real-time.
- Validate and prioritize alerts to identify true security incidents.
- Execute initial triage and enrichment through SOAR (e.g., IBM Resilient, Splunk SOAR, Cortex XSOAR, or similar).
- Escalate confirmed incidents to L3 teams with detailed investigation notes.
- Maintain incident tickets and ensure proper documentation and closure.
- Support playbook execution and suggest improvements for automation workflows.
- Participate in daily shift handovers and maintain incident logs and dashboards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- 4+ years of SOC monitoring experience (internship or project exposure acceptable).
- Hands-on experience with IBM QRadar SIEM for log analysis and correlation.
- Working knowledge of SOAR tools for case management and automation.
- Basic understanding of network protocols, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security.
- Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK framework and common threat vectors.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
