Role Overview:

As a Travel Operations Intern, you will be responsible for assisting customers with both domestic and international travel processes. From pre-booking inquiries to post-booking support, you will ensure smooth communication, accurate information sharing, and a delightful travel experience. This role is perfect for individuals passionate about travel, customer interaction, and problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle incoming calls and emails regarding domestic and international travel inquiries
• Assist customers with trip details, visa guidance, booking procedures, and itinerary information
• Coordinate with internal teams and travel partners to provide updated and accurate details
• Maintain and update customer interaction records in company databases
• Follow up with leads to convert inquiries into bookings
• Provide on-ground support to clients before and during their trips
• Ensure customer satisfaction by offering timely, professional, and solution-oriented responses

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a degree/diploma in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field
• Strong communication skills in English and Hindi (knowledge of additional languages is a plus)
• Confident email and phone etiquette for both domestic & international client interactions
• Basic knowledge of visa processes, passports, and international travel documentation (preferred)
• Good computer skills with familiarity in MS Excel, Word, and email tools
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in customer service, travel operations, or ticketing (preferred but not mandatory)
• Passion for both domestic and international travel
• Knowledge of travel portals or GDS (Global Distribution System) will be an added advantage
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
