Job Description

Fleet Management
Vehicle allocation, maintenance scheduling, and tracking of All School Buses (60-70)
Route Planning & Optimization
Efficient route allocation to minimize travel time and fuel cost.
Logistics Coordination
Coordination with drivers, vendors, and other departments.
Vehicle Maintenance & Compliance
Regular maintenance checks and adherence to RTO norms.
Vendor Management
Liaison with third-party transport providers, negotiating contracts.
Driver Supervision & Roster Management
Monitoring driver behavior, performance, attendance, and scheduling shifts.
Cost Control & Budgeting
Managing transport budgets and cost-effective operations.
Documentation & Record Keeping
Maintaining records of trips, fuel usage, insurance, permits, etc.
Emergency Handling & Risk Management
Addressing breakdowns, delays, and accidents swiftly and effectively.
GPS & Transport Software Knowledge
Familiarity with GPS tracking systems, Panic button and transport/logistics software.
Safety Protocol Implementation
Ensuring compliance with safety policies for passengers and drivers.
Communication & Coordination Skills
Effective communication with stakeholders, both internal and external.
Knowledge of Local Routes & Regulations
Understanding regional road networks, traffic laws, and permits.
Reporting & MIS
Preparation of daily/weekly/monthly transport reports for management.
Problem-Solving & Decision-Making Abilities
Proactive approach in resolving logistical and personnel issues.
