Transport Coordinator (Returns and collection)

Role Overview: As a Collection and Returns Coordinator, your main responsibility will be to track van and teams to ensure collections and returns are completed in a timely manner. You will manage a centralized email inbox of Collections and Returns. Your tasks will also include outbound calls to drivers to ensure the correct number of parts collected in real-time, as well as handling inbound calls of drivers to assist with location issues and delays at collection sites. You will be responsible for planning collections and returns by considering the CBM and Weight, ensuring Proof of Delivery (POD) are signed, and taking photos in PDA. Additionally, you will coordinate with clients for collections and returns and populate Google Sheets with details of all tasks completed. If any collection issues arise, you will escalate them to your line manager. Key Responsibilities: - Track van and teams for timely collections and returns - Manage a centralized email inbox of Collections and Returns - Make outbound calls to drivers for real-time part collection verification - Handle inbound calls of drivers for location issues and delays - Plan collections and returns based on CBM and Weight - Ensure Proof of Delivery (POD) are signed and photos are taken in PDA - Coordinate with clients for collections and returns - Populate Google Sheets with task details - Escalate collection issues to line manager Qualifications Required: - Proficient in English, both written and oral communication - Ability to work in a cohesive and fast-paced environment - Capability to work independently when required - Good understanding of UK geography would be advantageous - Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and location maps Additional Company Details (if present): The job type is full-time with rotational UK shifts. During probation, you will work 6 days a week, and post-probation, you will work 5.5 days with alternate weekends. The holidays are only UK Bank Holidays.,
