Transformer Field Services Technician

Job Title: Service Manager – Transformers

Experience: Minimum 5 years in transformer after-sales service

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and technically skilled Service Manager to lead our after-sales service operations for the transformer division. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in transformer testing, failure analysis, AMC support, and team management, along with strong client relationship handling capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Transformer Testing

Supervise and ensure accurate pre-dispatch and on-site testing of transformers as per industry standards.

• Failure Analysis and Rectification

Lead technical root cause analysis of failed transformers and guide the team on corrective actions.

• Preventive Maintenance and AMC Support

Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules under AMC contracts, ensuring minimal downtime.

• Technician Management

Supervise, train, and allocate service technicians for site visits, repairs, and customer support activities.

• Client Relationship Management

Act as the point of contact for key clients, addressing their technical queries and ensuring service satisfaction.

• Service Reporting and Documentation

Maintain proper logs, service records, and generate technical reports for internal and client use.

• Field Support and Site Visits

Coordinate and conduct regular field visits to handle critical service issues and audits.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of experience in transformer servicing
• Hands-on experience in oil testing, winding checks, insulation resistance, and related technical tasks
• Strong team leadership and client communication skills
• Willingness to travel to client locations as required

Compensation:
As per industry standards and based on experience

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
