Job Summary

Multispecialty Denials Trainer

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct structured training sessions on denial management for multispecialty coding and billing teams
  • Provide floor support during transitions and onboarding to ensure quality and compliance standards
  • Analyze denial trends and deliver focused training to address root causes and improve resolution rates
  • Develop and maintain training materials including SOPs, presentations, handbooks, and reference guides
  • Ensure timely completion of onboarding and compliance training for new hires as per client and organizational requirements
  • Collaborate with quality, coding, and RCM teams to align training with operational goals
  • Participate in client meetings, knowledge transfer (KT) sessions, and performance reviews as needed
  • Stay updated on payer-specific guidelines, CMS regulations, and industry best practices
  • Publish monthly updates and insights on denial trends, payer changes, and coding compliance

Job Specifications

  • Strong understanding of denial workflows across multiple specialties including E&M, Surgery, Radiology, ED, and Ancillary services
  • Proficient in US healthcare reimbursement, payer policies, and denial resolution strategies
  • Must hold a valid certification:

    CPC / CCS / CPMA / COC / AHIMA

  • Graduate in any discipline with

    minimum 5 years of experience

    in denial management and coding
  • Prior experience in training, coaching, or mentoring is highly desirable
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with EMR systems and denial management platforms (e.g., Epic, Cerner, Athena, Availity)
