Trainee Quantity Surveyor (Civil)

As a Quantity Surveyor at our company, your role will involve preparing accurate quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and bills of quantities (BOQ). You will be responsible for analyzing drawings, specifications, and other documents to prepare tender and contract documents. Monitoring project budgets, cost control, and forecasting will also be a key part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will conduct rate analysis for materials, labor, and construction activities, handle subcontractor billing and verification, assist in negotiating and finalizing contracts, and maintain project costing and reporting documentation. Providing support to the project team regarding commercial and contractual matters is also expected from you. Qualifications required for this role include proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and quantity surveying software, good knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations, strong analytical and numerical skills, effective communication and negotiation abilities, and attention to detail with strong organizational skills. You will be working full-time in a hybrid remote work setup located in Madurai, Tamil Nadu. Additionally, the company offers leave encashment as a benefit. Experience of at least one year in a similar role is preferred for this position.,
