Trainee medical coding

Role Overview You will be joining as a Trainee Medical Coder in a full-time on-site role located in Mumbai. Your main responsibility will be accurately coding medical records using established ICD-10 and CPT classifications. Your day-to-day tasks will involve reviewing patient records, assigning appropriate medical codes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and collaborating with healthcare providers and billing departments to guarantee accurate and timely submission of claims. Key Responsibilities - Review patient records and accurately assign medical codes - Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements - Collaborate with healthcare providers and billing departments for timely claim submission - Utilize knowledge of Medical Coding and Medical Terminology - Possess RHIT certification and experience in Health Information Management - Preferably have prior Coding Experience - Demonstrate strong attention to detail and analytical skills - Exhibit effective communication and collaboration abilities - Work independently and manage time efficiently - Possess an Associate degree in Health Information Management or related field (advantageous) Qualification Required - Knowledge of Medical Coding and Medical Terminology - RHIT (Registered Health Information Technician) certification and experience in Health Information Management - Prior Coding Experience preferred - Strong attention to detail and analytical skills - Effective communication and collaboration abilities - Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently - Associate degree in Health Information Management or related field (advantageous),
