Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Trainee Medical Coder located in Mumbai. The Trainee Medical Coder will be responsible for accurately coding medical records using established ICD-10 and CPT classifications. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing patient records, assigning appropriate medical codes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and collaborating with healthcare providers and billing departments to guarantee accurate and timely submission of claims.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Medical Coding and Medical Terminology
• Possess RHIT (Registered Health Information Technician) certification and experience in Health Information Management
• Prior Coding Experience is preferred
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
• Associate degree in Health Information Management or related field is advantageous
