Trainee

Job Description: As a Chemical Process Operator, you will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and controlling various chemical process equipment such as reactors, mixers, distillation columns, and filtration systems. Your key responsibilities will include: - Handling raw materials and finished products, which involves tasks like loading, unloading, weighing, and labeling. - Following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), batch records, and safety protocols diligently to ensure smooth production activities. - Conducting in-process checks and maintaining accurate records of production data including temperature, pressure, and batch times. - Performing basic troubleshooting of equipment and promptly reporting any malfunctions or deviations to supervisors. - Upholding the cleanliness and orderliness of the production area to maintain a safe and efficient work environment. - Supporting the implementation of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards by adhering to protocols such as proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and emergency response procedures. Qualifications Required: - Previous experience in operating chemical process equipment is preferred but not mandatory. - Basic understanding of chemical processes and equipment. - Ability to follow SOPs, batch records, and safety protocols rigorously. - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recording production data. - Effective communication skills to report equipment malfunctions or deviations. - Willingness to maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the production area. - Commitment to upholding Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards including the use of PPE and emergency response procedures.
