Trade & Processing Specialist

Your role: You will utilize your product and front-to-back process knowledge to support highly structured or non-standard transactions. Additionally, you will understand risks and apply this knowledge to risk metrics, support new or emerging business areas, and identify limitations including systems, risk, and operational feasibility. You will interface with internal and external clients to provide operational and administrative support as needed, identify and propose potential solutions for addressing control gaps, and increase efficiencies by utilizing technology. Moreover, you will work with stakeholders for any new initiatives that can affect the function and ensure the understanding of the reams requirement to ensure the risk of the process is understood. Your team: You will be working with UBS India OTC Confirmations and Settlements team out of Hyderabad location. The team provides supervision for the OTC Confirmations and Settlements function and works closely with the Business for any new opportunities. Your expertise: You should possess solid interpersonal and client-relationship skills, good presentation skills, 2+ years of OTC operations experience or related function, excellent Excel skills, and some VBA/Alteryx skills. Experience of building tactical reconciliations would be highly beneficial. Furthermore, you should have a good understanding of risk/control environments with a proven track record, the ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously and understand how to prioritize, strong OTC/IB product knowledge, and a risk and control mindset. It is essential to be familiar with operation escalation protocol and sensitive to potential red flags in the F2B processes. You are expected to collaborate with internal stakeholders on changes impacting the function, work with Business on new Business initiatives, and resolve language breaks on Confirmations with continuous interaction with Legal, Trading, and Sales teams.
