Trade Associate

Role Overview: You will be part of the Trade Finance Operations team at Deutsche Bank in Bangalore, India. The team handles various products like Letter of Credit, Collections, Bank Guarantees, etc. As a Trade Associate, you will have ample opportunities to learn different products and processes under the guidance of subject matter experts. The learning never stops in Trade Finance Operations, ensuring continuous growth and development in your role. Key Responsibilities: - Manage day-to-day Process Service Delivery effectively - Act as the internal/external escalation point for issues - Provide technical operational expertise for client and team inquiries - Monitor and control workflows to ensure efficiency - Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance operations - Ensure tasks are completed within specified SLAs - Identify and mitigate operational risks proactively - Offer guidance to individuals and teams facing challenges - Multitask effectively and delegate tasks to direct reports - Establish structured upward and downward communication channels - Assist in recruitment and training processes - Supervise and mentor team members for their development - Drive projects and efficiency initiatives for continuous improvement - Create backups for critical positions and support other teams during contingencies - Collaborate closely with process owners, stakeholders, and internal clients to drive the bank's business growth Qualifications Required: - Understanding of Trade-related rules and guidelines as per ICC (ICC/UCP/URC etc) - Knowledge of legal, credit, and operational risks associated with Trade products/services - Strong communication skills, both oral and written - Willingness to work in late-night shifts - CDCS Certification is an added advantage Additional Company Details: Deutsche Bank strives to cultivate a culture where employees are empowered to excel together every day.
