Roles and responsibilities:

Customer and Operational Excellence:

• Ensure US tax returns are filed on time
• Ensure that Tax compliance is completed correctly
• Ensure that Tax payments are recorded via journal in system correctly
• Ensure that customers queries related to tax are responded timely and satisfactorily.
• Ensure that tax reconciliations are completed timely and accurately
• Ensure that Tax credits have been applied timely and accurately
• Ensure that emails are responded on time
• Attend regular meetings with the Client and work closely with the Onshore counterparts
• Able to work under pressure and tight timelines
• Should be to work closely with client to take over more work related to Tax and Property Tax
• Should be able to support in US states tax audits

• Supervise other team members who are in the process.
• Actively participates in the events / skip activities conducted at work place
• Provide inputs through forums to improve work procedures that can enhance overall team performance, processes, product and team culture.
• Work effectively and cohesively in a team environment with all departments and foster a positive work culture.

• Good understanding of US sales and use tax, Tax returns, Tax Compliance, Understanding of Tax credits

• Knowledge of Vertax and US Property Tax will be added advantage
• Proficient in MS Office

Eligibility:

• A minimum of 18 months experience in the current role as on date of release of IJP @Grade II
• Graduates or MBAs with five to eight years of work experience including tenure at Teleperformance
• Minimum of Successfully Achieved rating in last appraisal
• Should not be on active written CAP/DAP/EDP

Preferences:

• 3- 7 years of experience in finance shared services reporting (US taxation)
• Should have expertise US tax returns, statute and legal requirements
• Good Presentations and communications skill.
