Title Sr. Embedded Firmware Engineer

As an Embedded Firmware Engineer at Electrify Services, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our clients by designing enhancements, updates, and program changes for firmware subsystems. Your responsibilities will include analyzing designs, coding, programming, and integrating activities, as well as writing and executing testing plans and protocols. You will also be involved in developing embedded APIs, web applications, database structures, and web-based application portals. In this role, you will troubleshoot development and production problems, collaborate with teams to deliver high-quality solutions, and provide technical expertise on novel product ideas. Additionally, you will communicate with management, internal, and outsourced development partners, representing the firmware engineering team for larger projects. Mentoring less experienced staff members and contributing to passion projects are also part of the role. To be successful in this position, you should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Firmware & Product development, with expertise in C, C++, Embedded C, and Python. Experience in developing applications for ARM microcontrollers and embedded Linux systems is essential. Proficiency in communication protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, BLE, and WIFI, as well as familiarity with IoT-based technologies, is required. Knowledge of embedded Linux/windows stand-alone systems, hardware schematics, and soldering/hardware debugging tools is also beneficial. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, firmware testing methodology, and excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary for this role. The ability to communicate product architectures and design proposals effectively is important. Experience with Altium or KiCad, real-time development tools, and firmware testing tools/languages is a plus.
