Title GCP, Terraform, Python Engineer

Role Overview: You will act as a consultant and subject matter expert for internal stakeholders in engineering, sales, and customer organizations to resolve technical deployment obstacles and improve Google Cloud. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting, reproducing, and determining the root cause for customer-reported issues, building tools for faster diagnosis, and ensuring high availability and security in cloud architecture. Key Responsibilities: - Provide consultation and expertise to internal stakeholders in engineering, sales, and customer organizations - Resolve technical deployment obstacles and improve Google Cloud - Troubleshoot, reproduce, and determine root cause for customer-reported issues - Build tools for faster diagnosis - Ensure high availability and security in cloud architecture - Utilize Infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform with a focus on IaC and immutable infrastructure - Work with GCP cloud foundational offerings including IAM, VPC, Cloud Logging, Security controls, Storage, and Compute - Develop software in one of the OO programming languages: Java, Go, or Python - Demonstrate understanding of Container & Orchestration Technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, and Openshift - Manage Traffic Flow with knowledge of Service Mesh concepts, experience in Istio preferred - Utilize Logging and Monitoring tools such as Stackdriver, Prometheus, and OTEL - Apply FinOps (cloud) domain knowledge - Support production systems at scale - Learn new technologies and optimize their potential Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or other technical discipline, or equivalent work experience - 1-5+ years of experience with Infrastructure automation tools (Terraform) and GCP cloud foundational offerings - In-depth understanding of Google Cloud's GKE Enterprise, Serverless, and other technologies - Software development experience in Java, Go, or Python - Strong background in Container & Orchestration Technologies - Experience with Traffic Flow Management and Logging/Monitoring tools - Familiarity with FinOps (cloud) domain knowledge - Ability to interpret technical and business objectives and articulate solutions - Willingness to learn new technologies and exploit them effectively Note: The company mentioned in the job description is Wipro, which is described as an end-to-end digital transformation partner with bold ambitions.
