Wealth Management and Investment Management Technology is responsible for the design, development, delivery, and support of the technical platform behind the products and services used by the Business. The role requires a Bachelor's in engineering or equivalent and at least 7 years of development experience in .Net 6 and .NET Framework (4.8). You should be proficient in developing REST APIs, DB integrations with and without ORM frameworks, API and Soap integration, and Background jobs. Strong OO design skills, SOLID and other design principles or practices are essential. Experience using Latest C# language constructs, Collections, LINQ, and async programming is necessary. TDD practices, unit testing, and its practices in .Net Ecosystem should be familiar to you. Experience using DevOps tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and Splunk is required. Experience in Event-driven integrations via Queues and Topics is a plus. Good knowledge of Multiple Relational Databases (SQL SERVER, ORACLE, Postgres) or self-learner is preferred. You must be detail-oriented, have strong analytical skills, and good time management skills. A powerful desire to understand and learn the domain is also essential. The responsibilities of the role include designing and developing data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes using SSIS, creating and maintaining SSIS packages for data migration, integration, and automation tasks, developing and maintaining web and desktop applications using C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Core, implementing database solutions in SQL Server, participating in all aspects of the SDLC, working with onshore and offshore team members, analyzing business requirements, writing functional and minor development specifications, coding solutions that meet the business requirements accurately, following and improving existing coding standards and best practices, and setting an example for team members in various aspects. Secondary skills that are desired but not mandatory include proficiency in Web UI JS Framework Angular, understanding of Cloud, Docker, and Kubernetes, distributed caching, NoSQL MongoDB, and experience in the financial services/banking industry, specifically in the Wealth Management domain.
