Job Overview:

The Third Party Operational Reporting Specialist is responsible for researching and resolving credit reporting inquiries and disputes in accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and E- OSCAR compliance deadlines. The role involves performing timely updates and maintenance as per Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and client requests. The specialist must have a strong understanding of mortgage servicing, legal documentation, credit reporting standards, and effective customer communication.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Review credit reports to identify valid disputes or generic Inquiries.
• Validate credit blocks and submit findings to clients.
• Report deceased borrowers to credit bureaus
• Save necessary documents in dispute backup folders.
• Process suppression requests to block negative credit reporting.
• Ensure compliance with credit reporting guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records of dispute and suppression activities.
• Ensure credit reporting task performed in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Support audit activities related to credit reporting requests.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for credit reporting.

Qualification & Experience

• Basic Degree completion (15 years of education)
• 2 to 4 years Mortgage Servicing experience.
• 3+ years of experience in credit reporting
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task and consistently meet multiple deadlines
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Strong customer service orientation
• Ability to use good judgment
