Role & responsibilities

Position- Third Party Inspection Engineer TPI PAN India

Location:

Salary: 5- 6 Lakh PA. Immediate joiners preferred.

* Qualifications Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation

* B.E | B. Tech: - in Electrical, Electronics, Electronics and Communication, Electronics and instrumentation, Instrumentation and control system or a related field (mandatory) with 3 Years of Experience.

* Diploma: - in Electrical, Electronics, Electronics and Communication, Electronics and instrumentation, Instrumentation and control system or a related field (mandatory) with 5 years of experience.

Key Skills: -

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in solar installation, inspection, or quality assurance roles.
  • Strong understanding of PV systems, electrical circuits, and construction practices.
  • Familiarity with NEC, OSHA safety standards, and local permitting requirements.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, site plans, and electrical schematics.
  • Proficient in using inspection tools, tablets, and reporting software.
  • Excellent attention to detail and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to extensive travel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct on-site inspections of residential, commercial, and industrial solar panel installations.
  • Verify installation quality in accordance with company standards, manufacturer guidelines, and national electrical codes (NEC).
  • Inspect electrical connections, grounding, inverter settings, and structural integrity of solar arrays.
  • Perform visual and functional tests to identify potential issues or hazards.
  • Use testing equipment (e.g., IV curve tracers, multimeters, insulation testers) to evaluate system performance.
  • Document inspection findings and prepare detailed reports with photos and recommended corrective actions.
  • Communicate deficiencies to installation teams and follow up on corrective measures.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols, building codes, and permit requirements.
  • Support audits and third-party inspections as needed.
  • Stay updated on changes in solar technology, regulations, and inspection standards.

Preferred Certifications (not mandatory):

  • NABCEP Certified PV Installer or Associate
  • OSHA 10 or 30-hour Safety Training
  • Electrical Journeyman License (if required by state/local regulations)
