Location : Sector 70A, Gurgaon Job Summary: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Theatre Teacher to join our Kunskapsskolan School. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching theatre arts to students at various levels, fostering creativity, self-expression, and a love for performing arts. Key Responsibilities: Develop and deliver innovative and engaging theatre lessons for students across different grade levels, in line with the curriculum. Teach and guide students in acting, script interpretation, stage design, and technical aspects of theatre. Plan and execute school plays, skits, and other theatrical performances, including rehearsals, set design, costumes, and props. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where students can explore and express themselves through drama. Assess students progress through evaluations, observations, and feedback, and maintain records of their development. Collaborate with other teachers and staff to integrate performing arts into other subjects and school activities. Encourage participation in extracurricular activities, such as drama clubs and inter-school drama competitions. Keep abreast of new developments in theatre arts and education, attending professional development workshops when possible. Foster teamwork and confidence-building among students through group performances and activities. Ensure student safety during activities and performances, following all school policies and guidelines. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor s or Master s degree in Theatre, Performing Arts, Education, or related field. Certification in teaching (B.Ed.) is preferred. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Experience with choreography, music, and stage management. Familiarity with CBSEs educational goals for creative arts and extracurricular activities. Experience in organizing and managing school events and performances.
