We are seeking a qualified Homeroom Teacher to manage our Secondary and NIOS classrooms. The ideal candidate will not only be academically proficient but also genuinely committed to understanding and addressing the various needs of our students, going beyond traditional teaching roles to support their overall development. Key Responsibilities: Plan and implement lessons that meet the NIOS curriculum standards and cater to the diverse learning needs of secondary students. Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and supported. Assess and monitor student progress, providing individualized support and feedback. Work closely with students to help them develop both academically and personally. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student progress and any concerns. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies. Be available to support students with special needs, providing additional resources and assistance as required. Participate in school events, staff meetings, and professional development opportunities. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field. Certification in secondary education and/or NIOS teaching qualifications. Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably with secondary and NIOS students. Strong understanding of the NIOS curriculum and educational best practices. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. A compassionate and patient approach to teaching, with a commitment to addressing the individual needs of each student. Willingness to be available for students beyond classroom hours as needed.
