Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced PMO Consultant (Fixed-Term Contract) to establish a dedicated Program Management Office (PMO) function. This role involves designing and implementing advanced project management processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance project delivery, consistency, and efficiency. The consultant will work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of diverse projects aligned with organizational goals. Key Responsibilities: Phase 1: Process Audit & Recommendations (2 months) Conduct a comprehensive audit of existing project management practices. Identify gaps and recommend actionable improvements for efficiency, consistency, and quality. Deliver a detailed audit report with suggested policies, tools, and workflows. Phase 2: Development of PMO Tools & Processes (4 months) Design and implement tools/dashboards to track KPIs, milestones, and deliverables. Introduce agile project management techniques to enhance adaptability and responsiveness. Develop standardized reporting templates for timelines, budgets, and performance updates. Establish a framework for documenting lessons learned and best practices. Phase 3: Change Management & Integration Facilitate training sessions for embedding new tools and processes within teams. Support the adoption of improved workflows through coaching and continuous feedback. Document the implementation journey, creating a roadmap for future improvements. General Responsibilities: Ensure alignment with organizational priorities and objectives. Collaborate with leadership to maintain open communication and manage competing priorities. Adapt processes to meet evolving project requirements. Required Skills & Experience: Master’s degree or certifications in PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile methodologies (preferred). Proven expertise in developing and implementing PMO frameworks, tools, and practices. Minimum 5 years of project management experience, preferably in multi-project environments. Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Jira) and data visualization tools. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders. Certification in change management (e.g., Prosci, CCMP) or project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.
