The George Institute India The George Institute, a wholly owned legal not-for-profit Indian research institute, has been conducting research related activities in India since 2002. The George Institute India’s mission mirrors that of the parent organization, namely the discovery and implementation of solutions to chronic and disabling health problems through research, policy development and capacity building. A number of large-scale projects in population, health systems and clinical research, funded by a diverse group of sponsors, both public and private, are conducted in India. The George Institute India comprises two distinct operating groups: Research and Development, and Infrastructure and Resources. It has two separate offices - in Hyderabad and New Delhi, where the research staff and senior management are based. Context of the Role An experienced Graphic Designer who can complete social media design and animations, Our directive is to support the creative needs of the Communications team and the Institute via a number of avenues. The candidate should be able to fluently move between Graphic and Motion Design, creating impactful visuals for a variety of mediums across print and web, with a focus on delivering engaging social media content - including infographics, short form animations and videos content. They will collaborate closely with the Brand Team and larger Communications & Marketing team, liaising directly with internal-clients to deliver high-quality, on-brand creative assets that drive audience engagement and bring stories to life. Reporting Relationships The Graphics & Motion Design Officer will report directly to the Senior Graphics Designer in Delhi and indirectly to the Global Head of Brand in Sydney. Duties and Key Responsibilities Design high-quality print and digital materials such as reports, brochures, logos, presentations, event collateral, illustrations and infographics. Creation of original short-form animated content for social media, including illustrations & infographics, video content, data visualisations and campaign visuals. Develop storyboards and style frames with internal-clients and Communications colleagues to visualise motion concepts from scripts and media releases. Contribute creative ideas during brainstorming and campaign planning sessions. Basic Video Editing tasks across various formats for internal comms. Follow Brand Guidelines to ensure The George Institute and sub-brands are represented appropriately. Liase with the Brand and Communications team members and internal clients ensuring projects are completed in a timely fashion. As a Team Member: Responsible for managing the day-to-day graphic design requirements of the Global Communications team and researchers, providing timely support as needed. Ensure consistent coordination with the Senior Graphic Designer to align with organizational priorities, maintain brand consistency, and deliver high-quality visual outputs across projects. Participate in team meetings and activities relating to Communications strategy. Skills, Knowledge and Experience Approx 4-5 years professional design and motion experience, preferably within marketing, communications, or a creative agency. Bachelor's degree OR Diploma in Graphic Design, Animation, Visual Communication, or related field. A strong portfolio demonstrating both traditional staticx3 and motion design capabilities. A demonstrated understanding of working within Brand Guidelines foundations including fundamentals in layout, typography, and colour. A demonstrated strength in motion graphics and video editing, using Adobe After Effects & Premiere Pro. Proficiency across the Adobe Creative Suite. Understanding of social media content formats and creating content for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube. Exceptional administration habits working within team filing and archiving methodologies. Exceptional communication and time-management skills, able to juggle multiple deadlines and keeping clients informed via Project Management software. George Institute Services India George Institute Services India Pvt Ltd (GIS) is a step-down subsidiary of The George Institute for Global Health, Australia (TGI), and has been set up as a commercial, for-profit entity to provide advisory and consulting services in the healthcare space, undertake commissioned research, and provide various services to overseas group entities. Context of the Role Non-communicable diseases (NCDs) cause over 70% of all deaths worldwide each year. 85% of premature deaths due to NCDs are in low- and middle-income countries. The George Institute is focused on finding better treatments for the world’s biggest health problems including renal and cardiovascular diseases. We are conducting large-scale clinical trials, often across multiple countries and clinical sites, and developing new medicine and technology solutions to prevent and treat common chronic and critical conditions with a global perspective. Our work is transforming practice and improving health outcomes worldwide. A Project Manager will work on trials testing new and existing drugs and will typically be involved in all stages of the clinical trial, including identifying an investigational site and setting up, initiating, monitoring and closing down the trial. Reporting Relationships Directly reports to Senior Project Manager Duties and Key Responsibilities The Project Manager would be expected to: Oversee the planning, implementation, and execution of multiple clinical trials conducted by the George Institute. Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, resources, and budgets, ensuring adherence to all relevant regulations and protocols. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including sponsors, investigators, clinicians, statisticians, data managers, and regulatory affairs personnel, to ensure smooth trial operations. Monitor trial progress and identifies potential risks or issues. Implement appropriate mitigation strategies to ensure trial objectives are achieved. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, ethical standards, and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines throughout the trial lifecycle. Collaborate with external partners, including academic institutions, pharmaceutical companies, and other stakeholders, to foster productive collaborations and leverage available resources. Provide mentoring and guidance to early career staff (CTAs, and CRAs), assisting them in their professional development and career progression. Conduct training sessions and workshops on clinical trial management best practices, protocols, regulatory requirements, and other relevant topics. Develop and maintain training materials, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and other resources to support the training and development initiatives.
