Job Summary:The Purchase Manager will be responsible for overseeing the procurement process for home appliances, ensuring efficient vendor management, cost optimization, inventory control, and quality assurance. This role involves building relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the timely availability of products to meet business and customer needs.Key Responsibilities:1. Procurement Management:Identify, source, and procure a range of home appliances (e.g., refrigerators, washing machines, air conditioners, etc.).Develop and execute purchase strategies to ensure timely product availability at competitive costs.Forecast procurement needs based on sales trends, inventory levels, and business growth plans.2. Vendor Management:Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with reliable suppliers and manufacturers.Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and contracts to optimize costs and supplier relationships.Maintain a strong supplier database and conduct regular performance evaluations.3. Inventory Management:Collaborate with the sales and warehouse teams to monitor stock levels and manage inventory efficiently.Implement strategies to prevent overstocking or stock shortages.Analyze sales patterns and market demand to ensure adequate supply.4. Cost Control & Optimization:Analyze and compare supplier quotations to achieve cost savings while maintaining quality.Develop procurement strategies to reduce overall purchasing costs.Monitor and control the department's purchasing budget.5. Product Quality & Compliance:Ensure all purchased products meet quality standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements.Address supplier issues related to product quality or delivery.Stay updated on new trends, brands, and technologies in the home appliances market.6. Data Management & Reporting:Prepare and maintain detailed reports on procurement activities, cost analyses, and supplier performance.Provide regular reports to senior management on procurement metrics and KPIs.Manage purchase orders, contracts, and supplier documentation efficiently.Required Skills and Qualifications:Education: Bachelors degree in Business Management, Supply Chain, or related field.
