Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic TGT Social Science Teacher to join our teaching faculty. The ideal candidate should have a solid academic background in Social Science and a B.Ed qualification, along with proven experience teaching at the middle or secondary school level. The candidate should be skilled in delivering interactive and meaningful lessons that help students understand historical, geographical, political, and social concepts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Social Science subjects (History, Geography, Civics, and Economics) to students in Grades 6 to 10, aligned with CBSE or State Board curriculum.
• Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, and assessment materials as per academic requirements.
• Evaluate and monitor student performance through assignments, projects, tests, and exams.
• Incorporate innovative teaching methodologies and technology to enhance classroom learning.
• Maintain discipline and a positive learning environment in the classroom.
• Collaborate with other teachers, participate in school events, staff development programs, and parent-teacher meetings.
• Encourage critical thinking, civic responsibility, and awareness of current events among students.

Requirements:

• Graduate in Social Science (B.A. with History, Geography, Political Science, or related subjects).
• B.Ed is mandatory.
• 2–5 years of teaching experience in a recognized school.
• Strong command over subject content and classroom management.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi.
• Basic knowledge of computer applications and smart classroom tools preferred.
