TGT Music Teacher-Vattingulapally, Hyderabad

Job Summary : We are seeking a passionate and skilled TGT Music Teacher to teach music to middle and secondary school students (Grades 610). The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in music (vocal and/or instrumental), a flair for engaging students, and the ability to integrate music with school activities and events in alignment with CBSE guidelines. Key Responsibilities : Teaching & Curriculum Implementation Teach music theory and practical in line with CBSE curriculum. Conduct classes in Indian and/or Western vocal and instrumental music based on school’s requirement. Prepare students for school performances, competitions, and exams (if applicable). Develop lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessment methods. Encourage appreciation for music and nurture students' creativity and talent. Student Development Identify and nurture musically talented students. Train students for participation in school events, assemblies, annual day functions, and interschool competitions. Organize regular practice sessions and rehearsals. Administrative & School Involvement Maintain records of student progress and attendance. Coordinate with class teachers and event coordinators for cultural and extracurricular activities. Take part in staff meetings, school planning activities, and parent-teacher meetings. Qualifications & Experience : Bachelor's Degree in Music or equivalent from a recognized institution (Diploma/Certificate courses in Music can be considered for strong candidates). B.Ed. is mandatory as per CBSE norms for TGT. 2–5 years of teaching experience in a CBSE/recognized school preferred. Proficient in vocal/instrumental music (specify which, if required).
