As a TGT Maths teacher, your role will involve delivering high-quality mathematics instruction to students and fostering a positive learning environment. Your responsibilities will include: - Developing and implementing lesson plans aligned with the curriculum to meet the diverse needs of students. - Teaching mathematics concepts effectively to ensure clarity and understanding among students. - Utilizing behaviour management techniques to maintain an orderly classroom conducive to learning. - Providing one-on-one tutoring and mentoring for students who require additional assistance. - Assessing student progress through regular testing and assignments, and offering constructive feedback. - Collaborating with colleagues to enhance teaching strategies and share best practices. - Engaging in scientific research related to educational methodologies in mathematics education. - Participating in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational trends and practices. Qualifications required for this role include: - A degree in Mathematics or a related field; additional qualifications in Biochemistry or Laboratory experience are advantageous. - Proven experience in teaching or tutoring mathematics at the relevant educational level. - Strong communication skills to explain complex concepts clearly and effectively. - Experience in behaviour management strategies within an educational setting. - Familiarity with special education needs and the ability to adapt teaching methods accordingly. - Proficiency in proofreading academic materials for clarity and accuracy.
