Job Title: Higher Secondary English Teacher

Location: Thuriyur main road, Musiri.

Job Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and dedicated Higher Secondary English Teacher to join our faculty. The ideal candidate should have a strong command of English language and literature, the ability to develop students’ communication skills, and the passion to prepare learners for academic excellence under the Matriculation curriculum.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in English Language and Literature for grades XI and XII as per the Matriculation syllabus.
• Enhance students’ reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills through effective pedagogy.
• Guide students in grammar, comprehension, essay writing, and literary analysis.
• Design and evaluate assignments, tests, and examinations in line with academic standards.
• Support students in improving their public speaking, creative writing, and critical thinking abilities.
• Provide remedial classes and mentorship for students requiring additional support.
• Maintain accurate student performance records and contribute to progress reports.
• Collaborate with colleagues for interdisciplinary activities and cultural programs.
• Participate actively in parent-teacher meetings, school events, and professional development programs.
• Foster a classroom environment that encourages discipline, respect, and creativity.

Qualifications & Skills

• Educational Qualification: B.A /M.A. in English (B.Ed. mandatory/preferred).
• Experience: 2–3 years of teaching experience at the Middle school level (freshers with strong subject skills may also apply).
• Strong subject knowledge of Middle school English syllabus under the Matriculation Board.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire students to excel academically and personally.
• Familiarity with digital teaching aids and innovative instructional methods.
