Key Responsibilities:

  • Teaching:
  • Teach English language and literature to students from grades 1 to 5 (depending on school).
  • Prepare and deliver lessons that cover reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills in English.
  • Conduct engaging and interactive activities to promote language learning.
  • Create a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and creativity.
  • Curriculum Planning:
  • Develop and implement a curriculum plan for English that adheres to school standards and aligns with the syllabus.
  • Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, and other instructional materials.
  • Organize activities like debates, discussions, and poetry recitations to enhance language skills.
  • Student Assessment:
  • Evaluate student performance through regular tests, assignments, quizzes, and projects.
  • Provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve their skills.
  • Maintain detailed records of students' progress and behavior.
  • Classroom Management:
  • Establish rules for classroom behavior and ensure that students follow them.
  • Address any behavioral issues promptly and effectively.
  • Motivate students to stay focused and engaged in the learning process.
  • Communication:
  • Regularly communicate with parents about students’ academic progress and areas needing improvement.
  • Participate in faculty meetings, parent-teacher meetings, and school events.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends in education and English language teaching methods.
  • Professional Development:
  • Continuously upgrade subject knowledge and teaching skills.
  • Attend workshops, training, and seminars to enhance teaching techniques.
  • Participate in school committees and activities to contribute to the growth of the institution.

Requirements:

  • Educational Qualification:
  • Bachelor’s degree in English (B.A. in English) from a recognized university.
  • B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) is mandatory to apply for the TGT position.
  • Skills:
  • Proficiency in English with excellent communication skills.
  • Strong command over grammar, vocabulary, and literature.
  • Ability to engage students through creative and interactive teaching methods.
  • Good classroom management skills.
  • Ability to assess and evaluate student performance effectively.
  • Experience:
  • Previous experience in teaching English at a secondary school level is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Personal Attributes:
  • Passionate about teaching and helping students achieve their full potential.
  • Patience, enthusiasm, and an ability to motivate students.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and cooperate with other staff members.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
