Role Overview: Ahmedabad International School (AIS) is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Economics and Business Studies Teacher for the IB Primary Year Program. As a part of the AIS community, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality lessons, assessing student progress, and creating a motivational learning environment for students aged 13 to 18 years. Key Responsibilities: - Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Economics and Business Studies for Grades 8-10. - Prepare documentation and reports on student progress. - Present and reinforce learning concepts effectively. - Assess and test students in the subject area. - Participate in necessary training sessions as required by AIS. - Fulfill all duties and responsibilities related to the class. Qualifications Required: - Hold a Master's degree in Economics. - Possess a minimum of 3-4 years of teaching experience at the secondary level. - Ability to create a dynamic and motivational environment for learners. - Previous experience as an educator in Secondary education. - Experience as an IGCSE teacher would be a plus. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
