Role Overview: You will be joining Deutsche Bank Lending Operations team to perform balance sheet spreading tasks for the German home market. Your main responsibilities will include transforming commercial clients" annual statements into the standard Deutsche Bank scheme, capturing results in the golden source system, and ensuring the correct application of policy rules. Key Responsibilities: - Understand the balance sheet spreading policy. - Analyze incoming client statements according to policy and against previous year. - Identify relevant client accounting positions and map them to the target scheme, potentially re-calculating positions. - Conduct quality checks of the results and add missing information based on research in commercial register or Deutsche Bank core booking system or credit workflow application. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. - At least 2 years of work experience in accounting or a similar role, with knowledge of at least 1 international accounting standard (IFRS, US GAAP) and ideally German HGB. - Beneficial to have knowledge of accounting software, financial reporting systems, reconciliation processes, and German language skills at a minimum of B1 or B2 level. - Strong analytical skills, ability to quickly understand banking software from a user perspective, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
