As a Textile Designer for Soft Home Furnishings at a leading export house in Gurgaon, your role will involve the following responsibilities: - Conceptualize and develop new collections based on seasonal trends. - Experiment with embroidery, surface development, and embellishment techniques. - Explore various printing techniques, surface developments, and weaving patterns as per buyer instructions. - Understand and create print designs, surface techniques, and weaving patterns based on buyer specifications. - Demonstrate a keen design sense to develop innovative concepts in surface techniques and prints, aligning with buyer mood boards and themes. Qualifications required for this role include: - Graduation in Textile Design. - Experience working with the USA, Europe, and Gulf markets in home furnishing products. - Strong sense of color, texture, and pattern. Additionally, you will be responsible for: - Coordinating with the team for new collection development. - Demonstrating effective team management skills and meeting tight deadlines. - Proficiency in software such as Ned Graphics, Coral Draw, Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator. - Understanding regional, Indian, and international markets to predict trends. - Experience in vendor management and collaborating with vendors to create new collections.,
