About the Role

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Textile Designer Intern with a passion for print designing, fabric development, and surface pattern creation. The ideal candidate should be from a reputed design institute and possess a strong understanding of print techniques, color theory, and textile innovation.

As a Textile Designer Intern, you will collaborate with our design team to create unique fabric prints, patterns, and textures for apparel.

Key Responsibilities

Print Design & Development

• Create original textile prints, patterns, and surface designs for garments and accessories.
  
• Develop hand-drawn, digital, and block prints while exploring new print techniques.
  
• Ensure designs align with seasonal trends, brand identity, and market demand.
  

Fabric & Material Innovation

• Experiment with digital, screen, rotary, and traditional printing methods.
  

Trend & Market Research

• Stay updated on the latest textile trends, color stories, and fabric innovations.
  
• Research historical and cultural textile designs for inspiration.
• Analyse

  WGSN colour forecasts, print trends, and seasonal design directions

  to develop market-relevant collections.

Collaboration & Production Support

• Work closely with fashion designers, sampling, production teams, and printers to bring designs to life.
  
• Ensure quality control of printed fabrics and troubleshoot print-related issues.
  
• Assist in fabric sourcing, testing, and sample development.
  

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Textile Design or Fashion Design from a reputed institute.
  
• Strong skills in print designing, color theory, and textile pattern development.
  
• Proficiency in 1 yr exp inAdobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW, or textile-specific design software.
  
• Knowledge of print techniques: digital, rotary, etc.
  
• Strong sketching and hand-drawing ability for textile patterns.
  
• Creative, detail-oriented, and passionate about fabric and surface design.
  
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
