Job Description

Description

We are seeking a skilled Testing Technician to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software applications through rigorous testing and validation processes. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work collaboratively with developers and product teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities

Conduct functional, regression, and performance testing of software applications.
Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on requirements and specifications.
Execute manual and automated tests, reporting any bugs or issues found during testing.
Collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure quality throughout the development process.
Analyze test results and provide feedback to the development team for improvements.
Document testing processes and results for future reference and compliance.

Skills and Qualifications

1-7 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, QTP) is a plus.
Proficiency in writing and executing test cases and test scripts.
Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
Basic knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Java, Python) is an advantage.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
