Testing & Repair Lead

Role & responsibilities

testing, troubleshooting, repairing, and burn-in validation

Preferred candidate profile

• Testing & Validation:

• Lead SMR testing operations including routine, functional, and final validation tests.
• Execute and monitor

  burn-in test setups

  to ensure performance under load and temperature conditions.
• Analyze test results and document deviations or failures.

• Repair & Troubleshooting:

• Diagnose and repair defective SMR units using circuit-level analysis.
• Identify root causes of recurring issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain repair records and failure analysis reports.

• Team Leadership:

• Supervise and train testing technicians on procedures and safety standards.
• Allocate daily tasks, monitor productivity/Testing, and ensure adherence to work instructions.
• Support cross-functional teams (Quality, Design, Production) for issue resolution.

• Equipment & Setup Management:

• Manage and maintain testing and burn-in setups, power analyzers, electronic loads, and measurement instruments.
• Calibrate and verify instruments periodically for accuracy.
• Optimize burn-in fixtures and processes to improve throughput and reliability.

• Quality & Safety:

• Ensure all tests comply with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality plans.
• Follow ESD and safety protocols during handling and testing.
• Participate in audits and continuous improvement initiatives (5S, Kaizen, Lean).

Required Skills & Knowledge:

• Strong understanding of

  SMR / Power Supply (SMPS)

  working principles.
• Hands-on experience in

  electrical/electronic testing, repair, and troubleshooting

  .
• Knowledge of

  testing tools

  such as DMM, CRO, power analyzer, and programmable load.
• Familiar with

  burn-in test processes

  , thermal profiling, and reliability testing.
• Basic knowledge of

  FMEA, RCA, CAPA, and Lean Manufacturing tools

  .
• Ability to interpret

  circuit diagrams, schematics, and test reports

  .
• Good communication, leadership, and documentation skills.
