Project description
This role requires a Testing professional to support QA activities for regulatory reporting systems in capital markets. You will be responsible for ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance of reporting solutions through structured test planning, execution, and defect management. The position blends strong basic QA skills with knowledge of regulatory reporting workflows and offers scope for accountability and leadership.

Responsibilities

Design, prepare, and execute test cases for regulatory reporting applications.

Validate data accuracy and completeness across upstream, downstream, and reporting systems.

Perform functional, regression, and user acceptance testing.

Log, track, and retest defects, ensuring timely resolution.

Coordinate with development, business analysts, and operations teams for issue clarification.

Support test planning and execution cycles aligned with reporting deadlines.

Provide clear QA status reporting and escalate risks proactively.

(For Lead role) Manage small QA teams, assign tasks, and ensure delivery quality.

Skills
Must have

5+ years of QA/testing experience with a strong understanding of testing fundamentals.

Hands-on experience in functional and regression testing.

Knowledge of regulatory reporting frameworks (e.g., EMIR, MiFID II, SFTR, Dodd-Frank).

Strong analytical and defect management skills.

Ability to work with cross-functional teams under reporting deadlines.

Good communication and stakeholder coordination skills. Nice to have

Exposure to SQL for data validation and reconciliation.

Familiarity with capital markets trade lifecycle.

Experience in automation testing tools.

Knowledge of Agile testing practices.
