Job Description

Job Summary:

Technical Support Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Respond promptly to technical support requests via phone, email, chat, or ticketing systems.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
Install, configure, and maintain software applications, hardware systems, and IT infrastructure.
Monitor IT systems to ensure optimal performance and availability.
Escalate complex technical issues to senior engineers or relevant departments.
Document technical issues, resolutions, and maintain accurate logs in ticketing systems.
Assist end-users with system usage guidance and best practices.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5 years of experience in technical support, IT helpdesk, or similar roles.
Strong knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux), and networking fundamentals.
Experience troubleshooting software applications, databases, and cloud platforms.
Familiarity with ticketing systems such as Zendesk, ServiceNow, or Freshdesk.
