You will be joining Nosh, a deep-tech start-up based out of Bangalore that is focused on automizing the task of cooking. The ultimate vision of Nosh is to revolutionize the cooking experience and eliminate the need for individuals to cook within the next 20 years. The company aims to empower everyone to cook and explore dishes from around the world, ensuring that no one misses out on the meals they crave, at any time of the day. As part of the multi-disciplinary team at Nosh, which comprises passionate individuals with expertise in mechanical, electronics, AI, food, and manufacturing, you will be contributing to the creation of world-class products with a value-oriented approach to problem-solving. Your role at Nosh will involve designing, implementing, and executing comprehensive testing strategies to guarantee the reliability, performance, and quality of the products. You will focus on the testing phase, encompassing both functional and non-functional aspects such as stress, environmental, and usability testing. Key Responsibilities: - Develop detailed test plans covering functional, performance, environmental, stress, and reliability testing. - Create strategies for validating product functionality, assessing risks, and ensuring products meet design criteria. - Write test cases to cover all product features, including edge cases and stress scenarios. - Validate product functionality under various operating conditions, emphasizing speed, accuracy, and responsiveness. - Test integration between hardware and software components for seamless operation. - Ensure product user-friendliness, intuitiveness, and ease of operation for a positive end-user experience. - Conduct tests simulating long-term use to verify product durability under typical wear and tear, environmental factors, and prolonged usage. - Perform environmental tests to ensure product functionality under extreme conditions (temperature, humidity, dust, etc.). - Identify defects" root causes and propose solutions for product improvement. - Implement automated testing systems to enhance validation processes and test accuracy. - Prepare products for third-party testing to obtain necessary industry certifications. - Conduct Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to assess potential failure modes and their impact. Key Skills/Experience Required: - Strong background in electronics and robotics testing methodologies. - 4+ years of experience with test automation tools, debugging, and quality standards. - Knowledge of product reliability, performance metrics, and industry-specific standards. - Experience with Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA). - Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
