Tester III - Software Testing

Role Overview: As a Sr Python Automation Engineer at UST, you will be responsible for designing, developing, executing, and maintaining test cases, test automation, defect exploration, failure analysis, and reporting. Your role will involve working independently and collaborating with other testers and test leads to ensure the performance of new or revised components or systems meets expectations. You will be expected to document test results, report defects, and facilitate changes in processes based on lessons learned from the engagement. Additionally, you will be required to develop the proficiency of other testers on the project. Key Responsibilities: - Construct test scenarios based on customer user stories or requirements - Construct systematic test cases from scenarios for applications based on customer user stories or requirements - Execute systematic test cases from scenarios for applications based on customer user stories or requirements - Ensure meeting of standards including usability, performance, reliability, or compatibility - Document test results and report defects - Facilitate changes in processes/practices/procedures based on lessons learned from the engagement - Develop proficiency of other testers on the project Qualifications Required: - Education level: BE, BTech, MTech - Overall experience: 3 to 5 years, with automation experience of at least 2-3 years - Good programming experience and object-oriented concepts in Python - Knowledge and experience in web application automation using tools like Selenium and Appium - Exposure to different testing methodologies and QA practices - Hands-on experience with testing tools, version control systems like Git, test management software, bug tracking software, and CI tools like Jenkins - Ability to review user stories/requirements, design test cases/scripts, identify anomalies, and detail them Additional Details: UST is a global digital transformation solutions provider with over 30,000 employees in 30 countries.
