Tester I - Semiconductor Product Validation

As a Test Engineer at UST, your role involves performing daily test case execution and filing bugs to ensure the quality of the product. Your key responsibilities include: - Completing the assigned test grid without deviations from given test steps - Locating product failures and reporting them in the test repository and bug tracker To measure your outcomes effectively, you will be required to: - Properly update the test repository and bug database - File a number of quality bugs - Adhere to schedule/timelines - Adhere to SLAs where applicable - Monitor the number of defects post-delivery - Address any non-compliance issues Your outputs are expected to include: - Managing project tasks and deliverables with quality within the targeted completion timeframe - Estimating time, effort, and resource dependence for your own work - Circulating daily status reports and updating the test repository - Reporting the status of assigned tasks - Ensuring compliance with validation standards and processes Skill Examples: - Proficiency in computer hardware and components operation - Ability to work with various Windows OS flavors and installations - Capability to perform and evaluate test results against product specifications - Skill in estimating effort time required for your work - Aptitude in performing and evaluating tests in the customer or target environment - Teamwork skills with good written and verbal communication abilities Knowledge Examples: - Good understanding of SDLC and STLC processes - Familiarity with different types of testing methodologies Additionally, the qualification required for this role includes: - Bachelors/Diploma in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or any related field - Basic understanding of computer architecture, hardware components, and operating systems - Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Exposure to testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium) is an advantage - Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities - Good communication and teamwork skills About UST: UST is a global digital transformation solutions provider that partners with clients from design to operation, embedding innovation and agility into organizations.
